The lovely Jessica Johnston recently sent in the beautiful wedding of Kenan & Ro and I am so excited to share it with everyone here today. Kenan and Ro are both artists based in Brookyln, but were married at the Max M Fisher Orchestra Hall in Detroit. Jessica did such an amazing job capturing the love between Renan and Ko. The couples photos below are some of my favorite in recent memory and Renan’s Melissa Sweet dress is absolutely stunning. Thanks, Jessica!

Omigod. The dress is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Anyone know where I can find it new or used? 5’6" 114 lbs, street size 0 or 2?

thanks Dee! It was actually taken at a cool VA bar in Detroit-it has like this grotto in the back with that sign. Strange and cool at the same time.

The bar would be The Old Miami on Cass Ave in Detroit. Always a good spot for the unexpected.

This wedding is so lovely! Thank you for sharing the image of them surrounded by candles, I’m getting married on a stage and envisioned a similar set up and this image just took my breath away.

Kenan and I bought the candles from a botanica in NYC, we drew out a floor plan and our families set them up the day of the wedding. It as truly the most amazing day of our lives. Jessicaand Nathan did such an amazing job of capturing all of it!
