My fiance and I have been together almost 5 years. We met through a mutual friend and we really started off as friends. He proposed to me Christmas Eve and I am happy and excited to be marrying my best friend. We are planning to get married in Brooklyn, NY November 2015. Our vision is to have a simple, traditional wedding surrounded by family and friends.

I would love to have you as my photographer for my wedding because I really admire your work. Photography is important to us and we want to show these pictures to our future children and grandchildren. The pictures on your site look vivid and beautiful, just like how I imagine my wedding pictures to look.

I’m entering for my sister, Carmen! She and her boyfriend are not yet engaged, because they’re currently in the cycle of being in other people’s weddings (that’s what happens when everyone loves you!). They’ve been together for 7 years this year – they started dating as teenagers after meeting at a volleyball tournament. Carmen and Chad are planning to get hitched summer of 2016, between June and August but the date is not yet set. We’re hoping for an outdoor ceremony and have a few ideas for the reception, including a clear tent – fingers crossed for good weather! The wedding will be taking place in or near Winnipeg, Canada which is just GORGEOUS in the summers. Given that I (the sister) am a florist, there will be plans for some really awesome florals. They’re both fun, vibrant people and are the ones in the crowd who strangers are drawn to. This wedding will be filled with fun! They love to dance, laugh, and eat really good food. I would love for them to win an amazing photography package from Christine – they totally deserve to have someone in charge of their memories who will do such a fabulous job!

My fiance and I would be so lucky to have Christine shoot our summer wedding. We are getting married on a small private vineyard in the Santa Ynez Valley and are looking to have a casually elegant, warm and romantic day with our closest friends and family. We plan to highlight lush seasonal flowers, fruit and herbs in our decor as well as local produce in all of the delicious food. Our goal is to make ever piece of our wedding day about what we love. My fiance and I tend to say it’s fate that we’re together. After attending the same university at the same time, living across the street, it took us moving abroad to finally meet. I am a pediatric nurse and was volunteering for an organization that provides treatment for children from developing countries suffering from congenital heart disease. Still my favorite picture of the two of us is of playing with some of the kids on one of my last days before returning home for grad school. After spending two years long distance while he served in the army, we now live together in NYC and are excited to return home to California for our wedding. Photos are extremely important for us and I would really like to have an artist who shoots film, as I love the softness, and the way it captures light (which we should have plenty of on our wedding day!). We want our photos to bring out natural emotion; the smiles, laughter and fun that we plan to have with everyone we love!

Hello!
Tommy and I have had one of those stories that you only read in books. (Really) In 2009 Tommy got back from India doing humanitarian work with my best friend. We were both and mored with each other but we’re in other relationships at the time. We both pursued our photography carreers and ended up doing wedding photography together 3 years later. After two wedding seasons of seeing others in love and also slowly falling in love with eachother we both agreed that WE wanted to be the ones on the alter.
After one month of a beautiful dating relationship I got a call I will never forget. It was 2:22am, tommy called me and said that his brother had shot himself and was in critical care. He asked me to pray, I stayed up all night praying for a miracle. But after 8 hours he was declared dead. The depth of sorrow and pain was unbearable. It all felt like a terrible dream. Him and I were a team, helping the family, talking to the doctors and making preparations for the funeral. Through this tragedy our love and commitment only grew. I learned how to truly love by laying down my life and plans for him.
After the smoke cleared we were left in grief. We wanted to get married that summer but grieving was too emotionally draining.
Receiving so much love and support we are now so happy to be planning a wedding a year and a half later.
Our love story was different than I had dreamed but I am thankful that it’s ours and we did it together.

We are still deciding on a date. May 22nd is the day we met in 2009 so we may choose that. But are open to other dates.

I am a director at an anti sex trafficking non-profit in NJ. My position is unpaid at the moment so we are trying to find wise ways to make our wedding happen. Also since we are both photographers it has been hard to find someone who we both agree on:) I saw this post on Facebook, looked into your work and knew he would love your artistry and style.
I am sure there are so many other lovely couples to choose from so I’ll let you get to the other posts!
Blessings in the new year and always remember, LOVE is a choice.

My fiancée and I have been together for 9 years now. We met in college and our mutual infatuation with each other has grown into a long loving relationship between two best friends. A year ago, on our 8 year anniversary he proposed in Malibu Beach, CA after a beautiful day of celebrating the journey that our love has put us on and the life that we have began to build together.

We are planning an intimate wedding filled with our closest family & friends in a venue that reflects our mutual love for the outdoors. While the planning process is still in the beginning stages, we are primarily seeking venues set in the simplistic beauty of the Southern California mountains and ideally will be getting married in September of this year. Our vision is for a day filled with life, love, light & laughter. From what I have seen from Christine’s portfolio of work, I believe her style of photography would gorgeously capture a very special day that has been a long time coming. I am so very excited to start the next chapter of our lives together and would love the opportunity to have Christine to contribute her own unique perspective to this part of our story.

Thank you <3

Hello! Jeff and I met more than 9 years ago thanks to the wonderful world of online dating. I never thought I’d meet anyone through online dating. Jeff messaged me, sharing how he thought we had a lot in common. A month and several email messages later, Jeff and I finally met. I hate to say such a trite thing, but it was love at first sight. We were just supposed to get coffee, but neither of us wanted the date to end. We ended up getting dinner, walking around Chinatown, and going to an art show.

We’ve been through our share of struggles, from a year of unemployment, medical problems, a botched surgery, family deaths, and quite a few life changes. We’ve survived it all, and we’re still deeply in love. We live in Los Angeles with our dog, Brewsky. I’m a high school teacher, and Jeff is an audio engineer.

I know Christine would be great for our wedding. I love her attention to detail and bright, romantic portraits. We are having a vintage-inspired wedding with lots of fun elements. The wedding is coming up soon in July (it’s going to be in Long Beach), and we still need a photographer! We would love for Christine to be a part of our special day!

I forgot to add: we’re getting married at the Ebell Club in Long Beach, CA on July 25th, 2015! I’m also in the process of making a wedding website. You can check it out here: jeffplusamy.com

Hello!
I’m Nikki and my fiancé is Kevin. We meet 4 years ago on a blind date and we instantly both felt at home when he opened his door and gave me a hug. We had an amazing date and knew we were crazy about each other from the get go. Little did we know all that life would throw our way in the coming years. We were engaged 4 months after we met during a spontanious trip when Kevin turned to me and said “I was looking at you and couldn’t stand the thought of you not being mine for the rest of our lives”. We had our ups and downs, a cancelled wedding date, slight separation, unemployment, addiction, family deaths and health problems. But ended up together once again through it all, knowing we never wanted to leave each others side ever again. He has been my rock through everything, even my lupus and severe fibromyalgia diagnoses where he would just hold me through treatments. We grew so much in the darkest times and now on our wedding day all we want to do is celebrate! Celebrate where we’ve been, where we are now and where we’ll be in the future!
Our wedding will be in Simi Valley, CA on June 27, 2015 (soon!) behind a church in their overgrown secret garden. Our reception will be at the same location with lights strung from trees, simple romantic flowers, exposed wood tables and barefoot dancing. We’ll be surrounded by our closet family and friends and laughter will be heard in the air as we share our love!
I feel Christine would be perfect for photographing our wedding because her photography tells a story. She not only captures breathtaking moments but also captures emotions. I love her work with natural light and her attention to every beautiful detail! She’s such a talented photographer and we’d be honored to have her for our wedding!
We’ve had such a hard time finding a photographer that would work with our budget because we had to use most of our budget for my medical bills and treatments… This just seems like an answer to prayer!
Thank you for taking the time to read this and we wish you the best!
Thank you!

-Nikki + Kevin
