My name is Sarina Cass–a wedding, children’s and portrait photographer. After picking up my first camera in an 11th grade photo class, I knew there was beauty and mystery in the world to be experienced and shared.
I obtained a B.A. in Photography from Ithaca College and a Masters in Image & Communication at Goldsmiths, London, with a focus in Fine Art. After working for 4+ years at internationally acclaimed photo agency Magnum Photos, I decided to leave, taking all that I had learned, and pursue my own work. In 2011, Red Anchor Photo was formally launched.
I love simplicity and believe that beauty is found in the subject and happening. I don’t arrive with big gadgets, all that I need is already there with you and the world around. I love experimenting with my first love of film, though digital is the medium most used for my current work.
At the end of the day I am here to give you exactly what you want: A representation of your love, whatever form that takes, as you see it. I come in joy and honored to be part of that which you wish captured.
