Delicate Outdoor Bridal Portraits

Don’t you just love the dream-like quality of this bridal session sent to us by Amelia Johnson?

Here’s more from Erica of Wit Weddings about their time with Olivia:

“When we first introduced young Olivia, a free and adventurous soul, to her delicate Rue de Seine gown, warmth transpired over her. Keeping Olivia’s spirit in mind, we surrounded her in a natural landscape of golden wind swept grasses and overgrown paths. Just as she embraced her adored bridal gown, we encouraged her to embrace moments of wind and stillness. The movement of Olivia’s dress mirrored the rolling hills of the Virginia countryside, and the warm rays from the summer sun enhanced all of the natural beauty of this bridal session.”

Rue De Seine Trunk Shows

Design is an emotional process, and wedding dress design is an especially emotionally-charged art. When designing a wedding gown, you’re not only designing an article of clothing, you’re trying to create something that a bride will emotionally connect with. Rue De Seine has perfected this craft and has successfully created a line that embodies the excitement, restlessness, and exuberance one feels when they fall in love. We stand in awe of this amazing designer, and each one of their ethereal, detailed, delicate gowns leaves us breathless. The imagination and originality of Rue De  Seine has inspired us so much in the past, and we’re excited to share even more of their designs with you today.

The newest Rue De Seine collection is called “Young Love,” and was inspired by the grace and beauty of a modern bride. As they put it, “It has nothing to do with when we fall in love but more about the restless spirit of it.” Each design is the embodiment of that feeling, expressed through flowing silhouettes and bohemian-inspired embroideries and laces. We’re especially excited to see new gowns featuring crochet and beautiful beaded floral designs set against a nude fabric. The entire collection is romantic, feminine, and embodies the carefree spirit of the Rude De Seine Bride.

To see the newest Rue De Seine collection, visit one of their trunk shows in either Denver or Los Angeles! See these gorgeous designs on September 26 & 27 at the  a & be Bridal store in Denver, and October 3-5th at the Lovely Bride in Los Angeles. To make an appointment with a & be, email hellodenver@aandbebridalshop.com  or call 720-627-5760, and if you’re planning on visiting Lovely Bride, call (310) 659-2050 or email la@lovelybride.com to schedule a time.

Our Most Pinned Wedding Dresses

top-8-wedding-dressesOne of our favorite parts about sharing beautiful inspiration shoots and real weddings with you is all of the jaw-dropping dresses we get to see! Wedding dresses have changed so much over the past few decades, and we’re loving the originality and intricacy of some of the newer designs. These are just a few of the dresses that have been pinned thousands of times from Once Wed!

1. This Rue De Seine dress is still one of our all-time favorites! Whimsical and elegant, this dress is perfect for a bride looking to make a statement while still feeling feminine and delicate.

blush-wedding-dresses2. This blush Reem Acra design was one of the most popular gowns of 2013, and we’re still enamored with this light pink beauty. Oh, and can we mention that it was pinned from Once Wed over 40,000 times!

monique-lhuillier-sleeve-wedding-dress3. We’ve had countless readers email us trying to find out where to get a dress like this grey gown, but we’re sad to say it was a custom design for this bride. But at least, we can all dream of a dress like this…
