Now, I don’t think we can get much easier or budget friendly than this one, yet it seems so right for this week’s imaginary wedding. If you have a stack of printer paper, a pen, and a little brother you’re good to go! These would be perfect strewn across a table, strung from the ceiling, or tacked to a wall.
You can totally do this! We just found stacks of simple white linen napkins and dipped them in little bowls of fabric dye to give them a watercolor effect. To keep with the minimal feel of this week’s board we laid out white paper on our table and chose flowers with hints of pink and white in them.
Check out the comment section to learn more about the dyes and technique Jessica used to get the ombre effect!
Pretty rad tie, right? But if you don’t have the $170 to sink, you could make your own! Just make a little stencil (we made ours from mylar) and paint your own stars on to a regular black bow tie.
We were so inspired by this little letter from one of our favorite illustrators, Anna Emilia, created that we thought; “hey! that would make an adorable handmade wedding invite!” You could totally do it! (just paint more paper than you think you’ll need and only use your favorites.)
Stay tuned tomorrow for a beautiful table-scape just in time for Spring!
