Planning a wedding at a tropical destination can be difficult, but, working with the aesthetics of a locale that may be a different style that your own doesn’t have to mean you have to sacrifice your preferences. We love how today’s feature, set at the amazing Largo Resort in the Florida Keys, effortlessly blends a tropical vibe with a whimsical and romantic feel.

More from the stylist, designer and Once Wed Preferred Vendor, Beauty in the Making:
“Built in 1949, the Largo Resort was initially intended to serve as an intimate casino. Although this dream was never realized, Largo still retains its blissful intimacy and lively atmosphere. Every day at dusk, spectacular sunsets adorn the celestial sphere, welcoming the peaceful twilight and coolness of night. The resort is flourishing with flora, including 100-year-old towering mahogany giants and indigenous buttonwood that offers shady respite from the tropical sun. Inspired by the colors of the sea, this perfect oasis has an immaculate style that mirrors the wistful nature of the waves with white coral and budding green orchid centerpieces and ornate chairs.

The bride is wearing a flowing, lace-detailed dress designed by Jenny Packham and her hair is gracefully styled by Caroline Jones. Her green orchid and amaranth bouquet is simple yet elegant, matched only by the whimsical archway that presides over the bride and groom as they proclaim their timeless vows of eternal love in front of the ocean. After the wedding, the bride slips into a dazzling and dreamy gown by Mira Zwillinger, relaxing amid the lush greenery before she is reunited with her husband. The broad gates, encompassed by rows of palm trees and blooming bougainvillea, now open wide for the bride and groom as they say farewell to their wedding party and prepare to begin their magical honeymoon. Taking advantage of this private sanctuary, the bride and groom remained at the Largo Resort to enjoy this precious time to savor each other. This tropical paradise, coupled with the authentic stone architecture, provides the perfect atmosphere. Feather and Stone Photography flawlessly captured their unforgettable affair.”
