Outdoor Fall Wedding Inspiration

There is so much to love about fall weddings, and this inspiration shoot from Jessica Rose Photography and Foraged Florals showcases much of it, and a little more. We love this bold choice of red gown, the bride’s sweetly twisted up-do, and the luxurious autumnal tones in her bouquet. And more than that, we love the story behind these images. Jessica Rose tells us, “This story specifically is about a woman changing her situation, leaving the familiar and making her way into the unknown. It’s a story that suggests that taking a chance is a beautiful thing, even if it’s a little less defined or predictable.” We think that might be the perfect sentiment for today’s couples who chose to wed, leaving behind the predictability of their lives and moving forward together into the unknown of their futures.

More from the photographer, Jessica Rose:
“When Tiffany of Foraged Floral and I were dreaming up the inspiration for this shoot we wanted to create a unique spin on the traditional bridal shoot that showcased the importance of depth and authenticity in bridal images.  We started by choosing a few words to mould our story around, and the two we decided on were mystery and resolve.

For the styling, we chose a slightly undone yet elegant look, with colours that emphasized and highlighted the overcast fall landscape of the PNW. We chose a rust coloured Elizabeth Dye gown for its simple cut and the way it blended yet stood out from the landscape, a rose gold raw diamond ring from byAngeline for its elegance and the fact that it felt just that one step closer to nature, and the model for her strong presence and striking eyes (which Beth Level highlighted so incredibly). Each choice was made in attempt to share beauty in its most raw and authentic form.”
