While Joy is away on maternity leave for the next 6 weeks, we’ve asked some of our favorite bloggers to share with us what their wedding would like if they were to plan it right now. We’re so excited to welcome our first guest blogger this week, A Color Collective…
Hi, I’m Lauren Willhite from the Color Collective blog. I pull color palettes from images by photographers and designers that inspire me. I am thrilled to be a guest blogger on Once Wed this week while Joy is off welcoming her third baby into the world!
What would my wedding look like if I were to plan it right now? As a designer, my taste is always changing. I was married two years ago, and I have been re-designing the wedding in my head ever since. I would choose earthy colors: muted greens, light pale peach, ivory and rustic brown. The style would be simple, elegant and laid back. I love the idea of string lights, tulips, horses and a beautiful view. Stay tuned for more of my wedding vision later this week!

Photographer Katie Grant recently travelled to Indonesia, where she photographed this modern bridal fashion editorial in the Prambanan Temple, an 9th century Hindu temple, revered as the most beautiful Hindu temple in the world. The expansive stone complex became the perfect setting for this modern bridal fashion inspiration: a chic column gown and simple greenery bouquet are a stunning contrast to the ancient setting.
