Happy Valentine’s Day! If you’re one of the lucky ladies who finds herself with a ring on her left hand today, then we’re so excited for you…and since we think finding the perfect wedding dress is one of the most exciting parts about wedding planning, we want to get you off to a good start by sharing this modern new collection of bridal gowns from one of our favorite independent designers, Sarah Seven.
Sarah Seven encompasses all that is quintessentially cool. They’re always known for their romantic take on wedding gown styles, and with this new collection (lovingly called “A California Haze”), they’re exploring clean lines, modern silhouettes and unexpected details, designing for the bride who is anything but “bridal” — and we love it!
With a nod to their West Coast roots, A California Haze pairs fresh, modern details with subtle 70’s flare. We love that the collection offers brides a touch of Palm Springs cool wherever they tie the knot – and wouldn’t any of these bridal gowns be amazing for an outdoor wedding, or a sleek art gallery reception! Architectural tailoring paired with classically organic lace gives the collection’s signature soft silks just the right amount of unexpected excitement.
One of our favorite trends in bridal gowns that we’re seeing over and over for 2017 is the sleek, tailored silhouette. Sarah Seven is taking that style and knocking it out of the park: modern fabrics, open backs, plunging necklines, lace accents, even a chic jumpsuit are all a part of the collection.
