Watters Torreon/4041b Wedding Dress
"This Watters bridal gown is a re-embroidered lace and eggshell duchess silk satin strapless wedding gown with A-line skirt and duchess silk satin and lace flower beaded appliques."
This Watters Torreon dress is gorgeous. I fell in love with it the moment I tried it on. I purchased it in 2011 for $3,200 and wore it at my wedding in 2012. It has been hanging in my closet ever since. I'm 5'5, wore 2-2.5 inch heels and did not have to shorten the dress at all.
I bought a veil from a separate wedding boutique and the lace/color is almost an exact match. I paid just over $400 for it originally and am willing to sell it for $150. (see photos, it is the veil I am wearing).
I added some photos of the dress currently (taken on 6/11/17). The photos are with the bag I have had the gown in since I wore it in 2012.
If you have any questions, would like to see additional photos or need exact measurements I am happy to provide them. Thank-you!
I had a seamstress adapt the dress into a sweetheart neckline and add cups. The cups can be easily removed (see photo). She also added an 18 point bustle so the dress sits beautifully for dancing. There is a lot of lace in the train and the bustle was designed to fold the fabric up in a way that wasn't bulky. I've included a photo of what the dress looks like bustled.
The gown was cleaned and has been hanging in my closet since my wedding. I've kept it in a bag which I am happy to include in the purchase.
