BHLDN Tamsin Wedding Dress
This dress is so beautiful and comfortable! It fit me like a glove right out of the bag. I am 5' 2" and 115 lbs. I usually wear 0 or a 2 and the 2 fit me perfectly, it just needed to be shortened. The color is so lovely and I think would be flattering on any skin tone. The lace overlay on the bodice and the tulle of the skirt are both ivory, the silk lining is a beautiful and subtle blush color. I had a backyard wedding and this dress was perfect. It was incredibly lightweight and felt cool on my skin. I had so many compliments on this dress. I wore Toms wedding wedges in "Petal" and the color matched almost exactly.
Here is the information from BHLDN:
Born in Ireland, raised and educated in South Africa, and based out of London, Catherine Deane’s designs are culled from her nomadic lifestyle and her passion for long forgotten craft techniques. Delicate and feminine, this gown features a sheer v-back and an exquisitely embroidered Italian cotton bodice as well as an ivory tulle, ballet-inspired ball gown skirt (with a soft blush lining!) that was made to twirl.

I had the dress shortened by a few inches. I am 5'2" and wore 2" Toms wedges, so it would fit someone 5'4" or shorter. I had a bustle added for the train. I made a belt from the blush silk that was removed from the bottom of the dress when I had it shortened. You can see in the pictures the belt that I used. It closes with 2 hook and eyes. Unfortunately, I no longer have the ivory belt that came with the dress as it was misplaced by the tailor. Personally I think the blush belt looks nicer anyway.
The dress has been professionally cleaned and stored in the dress bag.
