Stunning, distinctive, and elegant -- this White by Vera Wang trumpet wedding dress is handcrafted with over 70 yards of bias-cut organza tiers. The bodice hugs the bust, waistline, and hips to create a gorgeous and slimming silhouette. Two romantic rosettes accentuate the dramatic, chapel-length skirt of this breathtaking dress. The dress is one piece and zips up in the back. The overall fit is incredibly flattering on any shape for any venue type. An exquisite two-tier, ivory, cathedral-length veil and a trumpet petticoat pair are included with the dress. The dress is in really great condition. The only slight flaw is that one inch of the seam that connects the bodice to the skirt has separated a bit but will be an easy fix.
The dress went through minimal alterations to get the correct fit for the big day. The label size was an 8 but the final street size is closer to a 6. The bodice was taken in for an accurate fit and the hem was shortened to accommodate my final height (with shoes on) at 5'7". The final measurements are: Bust 33.5", Waist 28", and Hip 39". There were no major changes to any of the skirt/bodice materials or layers. A bustle (made with clear buttons) was added by a professional seamstress to make the dress easier to move in during the reception. You can see the bustle in the first and fourth pictures.
For the best fit, compare your measurements to those of the sellers. As long as EACH of your measurements are the same or smaller than the seller’s, the dress should work for you. Read how to take your dress measurements here.
