Purchased from Kleinfeld in New York City, with all alterations and post-wedding cleaning and restorations handled by the experts there (truly, they are the best in the country).

This dress is modern and glamorous, with gorgeous detailing (check out the applique straps, back, beautiful cross-hatch tulle in ivory-over-champagne). I did not want a frilly dress, and this is somehow simple and classy while having incredible and intricate details. The back is probably the most special part, with beautiful crystal buttons, ruching, and sexy yet classy keyhole detail.

Fit and flare shape with delicate straps and sweetheart neckline is incredibly flattering – I was able to eat, dance, pose, and have a blast at my wedding. Wore this dress for both ceremony and reception. Got tons and tons of compliments.

This dress was altered by Kleinfeld to fit my petite, curvy frame - 5'2" (5'4" with shoes), 32D bra size, was a small size 4 for my wedding day in normal clothes/brands. Cups are sewn in - no bra needed (or really possible), but I felt well-supported all night! Loops were added to the train for bustle. There are *extremely* minor signs of wear on the very bottom of the dress post-cleaning and preservation (I honestly would not have noticed, but Kleinfeld pointed this out to me), but it is otherwise in pristine condition - last two pics are post-cleaning.

It was professionally cleaned and preserved by Kleinfeld after the wedding. Here is how they explain the way it is stored: We preserve your dress in a completely archival textile storage box made of fluted polypropylene. A chemically co-inert polymer, this material is non-absorbent, provides more complete moisture protection than a cardboard box and resists fluctuations in temperature and humidity. Our proprietary boxes are made of the same material as those used by The Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City to store historic costumes.
