Priscilla of Boston style Off-the-Shoulder Sweetheart Neckline with Portrait Collar Full A-line Wedding Gown with Elbow-length Sleeve OR sleeves could be removed or shortened (bride asked that they be added but original design did not include sleeves. See main photo of a “similar” dress without sleeves to help you visualize. The other 2 are the actual dress with the sleeves.)

Dress is made of White Tissue Taffeta with an Alencon Lace-covered bodice outlined with pearls and sequins. Dress has a Cathedral Style Train with concealed hooks for bustling in back under a large bow or carried on a lace ribbon wrist loop.
Only worn once and is in excellent condition.

Pictures show front of dress and I played with lighting and exposure on the photos to make it easier to see the front bow at center of bust and lace and beading details on sleeves and front bodice extending down to hip level. I have other photos of the back and side when bustled that I can send upon request. (Only 3 photos were allowed here.)

This dress originally cost $1,800 from a bridal boutique owned by a French designer – Marie Coreen (also the name of the store) that used to be located in Mazza Gallerie, an upscale shopping mall in Chevy Chase, MD on the border of NW DC. It was custom designed to mimic a Priscilla of Boston dress. PofB was a high-end bridal line started in 1945 by Priscilla Kidder, the Vera Wang of wedding dresses before there was a Vera Wang. Her company closed in 2011 after the name was bought by David’s Bridal (it is their high end line today but not comparable to most of the PofB dresses of her time). This dress would cost at least double or more if purchased today from one of the high-end bridal boutiques in the DC area. Asking $800 OBO.

Dress was custom made to fit bride - a street size 8-10 at the time. Bride was 5’ 1” tall, wore a kitten heel height, and a medium full underskirt was used to add fullness to dress. A taller bride could probably wear without an underskirt or a slimmer skirt, a low heel, or worn lower off the shoulder (I was pretty modest). Dress size at the time was a regular Misses size 10 (not sure of the wedding dress size since dress was made to fit). Don't recall measurements and they are not on the receipt but bust was maybe a 36. Dress is available to try on.

Dress was professionally cleaned and stored in a wedding dress preservation box. I have recently had it cleaned and pressed to show (July 2016).
