Other Lea Ann Belter-scarlett Wedding Dress
This dress was bought at Felice bridal in Denver in October of 2013. I got married in it in June of 2014. The dress is beautiful and unlike any other I've seen. The top half has lace and the back laces up with a very open back. The lace from the body is also patched on the straps for the back of the gown to keep it soft. The dress was altered and would be able to be altered again if needed. If you are interested I'm also willing to negotiate to add in the shoes and vail I purchased as well. I would love to keep this dress and store it for the potential future children to use again one day or to make a baptismal gown out of but I feel like this dress is too beautiful to not be worn again!
Description from the designers website since my fabric terminology is not the best: "Scattered with hand-cut appliques, gossamer straps crisscross this beguiling wedding gown’s open back. The lace-covered bodice falls naturally into a breezy fluted silk organza skirt."
The hem length, Waist was altered to make a slightly more contoured fit, cups (which can easily be taken out or sizes changed), and straps taken in and out. Have receipts still if you'd like to see them. One of the strings in the back has a loop that popped off so that has to be stitched back on (literally one stitch) and then on the bottom of the back of the dress there is a small tear in the overlay from dancing-which I would be willing to get fixed for you if you are serious about buying the dress and wearing it or discuss price. The first image of the lady in the brown hair is from the website so you can see the back of the dress. The other two are from my wedding and in the 3rd photo with my husband you can see the bustle.
The dress has been professionally cleaned/steamed/preserved and is in a preservation box.
For the best fit, compare your measurements to those of the sellers. As long as EACH of your measurements are the same or smaller than the seller’s, the dress should work for you. Read how to take your dress measurements here.
