Hey brides! I’m selling my Sarah Seven Lafayette wedding dress! I’m also offering a DISCOUNT of $150 to cover alterations to the zipper and hook and eye closure on the bodice (see alterations section), bringing the price to $1350.
The dress was originally purchased from a & bé bridal, which has several U.S. locations and specializes in romantic, vintage, and boho gowns.
I bought the dress here on Once Wed in July 2016 for my September 2016 wedding. It was in NEW condition (the bride had special ordered it but eloped before it was completed). It was a brand new, unaltered, label size 8.
The dress was so right for my Northern California ranch wedding. It was windy that day and the dress billowed and flowed and I felt so romantic and chic, but not at all like I was wearing a fussy ball gown. Very comfortable and low-key. The bodice is *gorgeous* with a sweetheart neckline and drapey sleeves that you can wear up or down (I did both — down for ceremony and up for reception). I accessorized it with a super simple fingertip-length veil and floral headpiece from BHLDN, and a locally-made gold necklace.
I LOVED this dress and got so many compliments and felt so special in it, and I hope you will, too. :)
Note: I can send more photos of the dress if you’re interested! The dress in the first few photos isn’t my dress but the same design that I tried on at the Sarah Seven shop in LA.

Alterations: - Taken in at bust and waist to fit my measurements (34 chest, 27 waist) -- my cup size is B, but the cups were originally C and they are *unaltered* - The dress is A-line so will fit most hip sizes (I'm 37ish) - Hemmed to barely brush the floor with 3 1/2-inch heels (about 5'10") - Small train unaltered, added simple American (outer) bustle - Took in the drapey sleeves by an inch-ish so that they would fit up onto my shoulders without falling off (and they even looked better in the draped position, too) Important note: After my tailor took in the back of the bodice, she left a bit of a gap when zipped up and hooked. It looks fine when it's on the hanger, but when pulled taut (like on your body) it shows and looks a bit sloppy (see pics). I would recommend having someone alter this. It should be easily fixable by a pro -- I just didn't have time before my wedding. I'm offering $150 discount as noted above to cover this alteration.
The dress will be professionally cleaned and packaged for shipping for its next happy bride :). It will come in the original garment bag from a & bé bridal shop.
