This beautiful ivory Romona Keveza gown is from the Fall 2016 Legends Collection, and it’s so elegant and timeless! I got SO MANY compliments on my wedding day and felt stunning in it.
The gown currently retails new for $4190. It is a strapless, fluted (trumpet/mermaid) style with a sweetheart neckline in gorgeous ivory shantung silk. I cannot rave enough about shantung silk and the construction of this dress! I hated satin and lace and wanted something with structure that looked high-end (and not like some cheaper fabrics), and this dress checked all the boxes! It also has covered buttons all down the back (which are an up-charge when you order it). It was a size 8, but has been altered down a little. I am normally a size 4 in street clothes and wear between a size 6 and size 8 in bridal gowns. I am 5’8″ and about 130 pounds, if that helps. I wore shoes that had about a 1.5 – 2 inch heel with the dress.
I purchased this gown in April 2016 from a couture bridal salon in downtown Minneapolis and wore it for my wedding in late July 2016. I want to sell it quickly while it’s still part of a new collection, so here it is! Please note that I do NOT have the lace topper pictured in the stock photo. Also, I wore a different belt with the dress, which is for sale separately.
Please let me know if you have any questions or want to see additional photos! I have TONS of pictures of it at many angles.
Congrats in advance on your upcoming wedding! Hope you will love this dress as much as I did :)
I had this dress altered by a seamstress who specializes in couture gowns. The bustle alone cost $600, so at least you get that included :) The dress was also taken in slightly down the sides and along the butt area, it was hemmed, and padded bust cups were added (but were then removed for cleaning). NOTE: I did NOT sew the belt onto the dress, so there are no marks from it being taken off.
I paid $200 to have this gown cleaned according to museum-quality standards by a Certified Wedding Gown Specialist. I have a certificate showing it is in "PRISTINE" condition in all categories (overall, hemlines, neckline, underarm). The only thing I didn't do was press it ... I figured you will want to have that done right before wedding day, and since silk is such a luxurious fabric, I did not want to overdo it. It will look even more amazing once pressed again. Also, the padded bust cups were removed during cleaning, but can be included with the purchase if you want to have them sewn back in. Otherwise, the dress can simply be worn without them.
