Once Wed allows sellers to mention both the “street” size and the “designer” size when listing their used wedding gowns. The street size is the size that the bride would wear when wearing regular clothing or street clothing. The designer size is what the dress is listed as by the designer.

There is a great amount of variation amongst designers when it comes to sizing, so we ask that sellers list both street and designer sizes to make it easier for you to find the right fit. You can use the street size as a guide to finding a dress that will fit you if the designer size is confusing. It’s also a good idea for you to look at dresses a size or two up or down from your street size – alterations can be made to most dresses so that they fit properly.

Buyers usually pay for shipping which is added to the seller's asking price. Shipping costs vary and depend on the size of the box and the distance between the buyer and seller.  Once you know your buyer's location, you can get a shipping estimate from any of these carriers.

Shipping costs will depend on the size of the box and the distance it is traveling. Be sure to use shipping estimators found on the preferred shipping company's website. 

Shipping your dress is both exciting and extremely important. We want it to arrive just as you sent it. To do this, use a box that is just right for the size of your dress and you'll get the most efficient shipping rate. A box that is between 18 x 16 x 9 and 24 x 18 x 5 typically work well. Just be sure your buyer is aware of potential customs/duty charges that will be her responsibility when the dress arrives.  If you are shipping your dress from the US to Canada, you can get an estimate of the duty charges here.
