This Sarah Seven dress looks effortless and very romantic. It is also very lightweight and easy to walk around in, perfect for dancing and lots of pre-ceremony photo-taking with your wedding party! I wore it to both the ceremony and reception.
The dress has a beautiful bodice made of vintage-inspired lace in a large lace pattern. The skirt is a pleated chiffon in a soft creamier color.

BODICE: When I ordered my dress from Lovely, I requested that Sarah Seven create the lace bodice with extra lace so I could then have it altered to look more custom-made with unfinished sleeves and neckline to give the dress a more organic feel. With this extra lace, you could also create finished seams around the neckline and sleeves/arm openings if you prefer. The extra lace also allows you to adjust how much of your neck/collar bone you'd like to cover. One thing to note is that the lace is fragile especially since I opted to have unfinished sleeves. To keep things in place after the wedding, I gently stitched the underarm area to keep the lace in place while it's currently in storage.
HEM: The dress has also been hemmed. I am 5'3" and wore 3" heels and the dress grazed the floor. There is also a short train, approximately 2 feet, that you can easily bustle--there are tiny loops at the end of the train that can be attached to a hidden button underneath the chiffon pleats. If you prefer not to have a train, it can be easily hemmed.
The dress has been professionally hand cleaned by specialists at a premiere dry cleaning service that serves the Metropolitan Opera and Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC.
