Dress Alterations
Custom train lift: The dress did not come with a bustle, so I had one professionally made to neatly tie the train up without compromising the sleek silhouette or risk having the train get dirty from excessive trailing on the floor. There are photos showing the train lifted (tied inside the dress) and the other showing the train hanging from a loop on the wrist—a pretty way to hold it while you walk around for photos. My mother crafted the bustle—she is a professional seamstress with 40 years of experience.

Dry Cleaning/Preservation
The dress was professionally dry cleaned the day after my wedding. It has been hanging up high in a smoke-free home, away from humidity and sunlight, in the original plastic bag inside, which is inside the original garment bag and on the original hanger (using the hanger straps!).
Mikaella 2190 Wedding Dress
The gown is by Canadian designer Mikaella. It was purchased at the Kleinfeld Bridal Shop in Toronto for $3200.
There are no stains or markings on the dress. It is in absolute mint condition! I am 5'6" tall and wore 3" heels. It is comfortable to wear and soft on the skin. There are soft bra cups on the inside.
