ONE OF A KIND COUTURE DRESS! I found this dress during my last week living in Dubai. It was designed by Charles Lu for Arushi Couture, 2016/2017. Dress is called Alabaster and described as an "off-white structured cocktail dress, with laser-cut organza layers in ivory and pale gold tube embroidery fading from neckline."
I wore this at a courthouse wedding in Austin, TX and then followed by a sit-down dinner at a restaurant. No dancing. I styled the tailored ecru with peacock blue accessories. I am 5'9" and it hit below the knee for me. I love the pleats around the hip which give it feminine volume. Gorgeous and unique design, no one else in the world will have it! Perfect for the fashion-first, non-traditional bride in the fall/winter months. Also great for a second dress for the true princess who wants to stun at every turn. Easy to move around in, delicate, and Elizabethan.

I took this to a professional wedding alteration shop. They took in the waist and a bit in the upper back to cinch to my bodice measurements perfectly. I have a bag of extra beads for the top if you want to let it back out. Also helpful in case any fall off in the future, you have many for repair/replacement. The top of the dress in the back is slightly uneven, but that is because this was handmade. If you wanted a tailor to fix this, you can ask, but I left it alone. It adds to the unique quality and character for me.
This dress has been dry cleaned and hanging in garment bag since the wedding in October 2017.
