From Justin Alexander:
A-line gown features a satin lining and a Venice Sabrina neckline. A satin belt sits at the natural waist with crystal and pearl beading. Fabric buttons cover the back zipper and trail to the hem of the chapel length train.
This description ignores the gorgeous floral lace that is the reason to buy the dress, in my opinion. This A-line whittles your waist down and is wonderfully flattering, especially on a pear or hourglass shaped figure. That said, the waist is not forgiving and only has about 1/2 inch to be taken out, according to the bridal salon who sold it to me.
The dress has not been worn since my fiancé and I decided to elope to the mountains, and this dress is far more suited to an elegant inside venue, such as a museum or hotel with its delicate lace and ample train. The photo of me in the dress is me in the shop’s sample; I provided it to show how flattering the dress is on a more ample figure. Also, I’m 5’1″ and am standing on a stool in the photo. I believe this dress has sufficient length for someone who is 5’10”.
