Once Wed allows sellers to mention both the “street” size and the “designer” size when listing their used wedding gowns. The street size is the size that bride would wear when wearing regular clothing, or street clothing. The designer size is what the dress is listed as by the designer.
There is a great amount of variation amongst designers when it comes to sizing, so we ask that sellers list both street and designer sizes to make it easier for you to find the right fit. You can use the street size as a guide to find a dress that will fit you if the designer size is confusing. It’s also a good idea for you to look at dresses a size or two up or down from your street size – alterations can be made to most dresses so that they fit properly.
