There is just something about an outdoor wedding that has the ability to take your guests’ breath away. And since we’re all anticipating the arrival of summer, Vanessa and Mike’s outdoor Toronto wedding is the perfect combination of warm summer light (which ALMOST tricks us into believing it’s really here) and tiny touches of citrus popped into a blush and peach palette to tie us over.
More from the planner:
“Vanessa & Mike love spending time at their cottage north of the city. The Toronto Hunt Club allowed their guests to be in Toronto, but feel like they were miles away. Their outdoor ceremony took place on the cliffs facing Lake Ontario, a view that truly takes your breath away. While Vanessa and her girls got ready in the clubhouse, guests waited for the ceremony to begin while filling in a crossword puzzle about the bride & groom.
Vanessa had a clear vision of her wedding day, wanting to bring a romantic, garden inspired feeling with a palette of white, blush and peach. As guests dined under a tent, they had the pleasure of enjoying lush centerpieces, interspersed with vintage rose gold & mercury candles, wood based pillar candles and cloches with bud vases.
A four-course dinner was enjoyed in the open air, after which the band The Digs kicked things into high gear and got everything grooving on the dance floor. A late night candy station, as well as classic grilled cheese sandwiches and a French fry bar quenched the guest’s hunger after dancing the night away. It was truly a spectacular day!”
