The engagement period is such a special and fleeting time. It is full of joy, anticipation, and romance. We love how this session by Jemma Keech captures the beauty of the engagement season and the sincere connection of the couple. Read more from the bride below:

“I have always wanted to shoot our engagement session in soft, dreamy pastel tones and in a romantic setting. I envisioned that it would take place in a open field of long, brown grass. I have been following Jemma’s beautiful work – her style of fine art photography fits the bill, and she showed us to the most gorgeous location in Swan Valley, Western Australia. The weather was perfect, and we were blessed with incredibly pretty light from a breathtaking sunset.

We wanted to look chic and elegant for the shoot, so we went with a smart casual look as well as something a little more formal. My white gown was Julie Vino-inspired and custom made by a young, talented Sydney-based designer, Mandy Heng. Mandy also kindly lent me her handmade peacock print skirt which danced so gracefully in the gentle breeze.”
