Cicatrize (v.) to find healing by the process of forming scars. Erich & I loved the idea of a boudoir shoot that complimented the mood and energy of the 150 year old house at Covey’s Cove Ranch. I chose Cicatrize as the inspiration word because I found beauty in the strength and vulnerability of its meaning. Erich captured that mood perfectly. By asking our model to shield or turn away from the camera we focused on the movements and placement of her body. It was an amazing exercise for the attendees to understand how expressive and subtle the body can be.

What a charming idea for the wedding! So fresh and tender. I’ve searched hundreds of wedding ideas already, but haven’t seen anything so pure yet. I would show this article to my husband to be, he will totally appreciate. I love this website so so much. Lots of ideas for all styles, I’ll definitely recommend it to everyone who’s planning the wedding.
