This beautifully rustic Ojai garden wedding has so many wonderful elements mixed in; history, family, natural settings, and beautiful details. This couple chose to host their rustic Ojai garden wedding at the home of the bride — the place where they got engaged and a place that has always held sentimental value to them. Don’t you just love the natural garden feel mixed with this couple’s sheer elegance and style? The bride describes her rustic Ojai garden wedding below.

“Jesse proposed to me on my birthday – Christmas Eve – in the garden of my family’s Ojai, California home. Within hours of the proposal, we decided we would be returning to that garden to be married. To us, the property has always been reminiscent of places like Tuscany and Provence. From the roses and lavender to the citrus groves and ancient oak trees, we felt as though we were able to capture what we love about those places without leaving home.”

These photographs are lovely – garden weddings are my favorite. And those save the dates and invitations are so clever and beautiful! I love that the garden is where Jesse proposed, makes the whole story even more romantic.
