Do you remember Amanda and Will from that magical engagement session we featured a while back with the sprinkler? Well….here’s their equally stunning wedding! (the first half anyway…come back for part II next!)

From Amanda:

Will and I met studying abroad on a ship that sailed around the world. Four years later we found ourselves planning a backyard wedding. I always knew I wanted to get married at home with a wreath of flowers in my hair-just like my mom did.

Will and I wanted to create a wedding with an old California feel paying homage to warm family traditions and our California roots. We were blessed to have many helping hands, whether it was unstitching used grain sacks from France or in the garden picking fresh lavender for the invitations or burning our fingers while melting hot wax for the menus, our friends and family did everything they could to play a role in the celebration of the joining of us.
