If Brett and I ever decide to renew our vows, hiring a cinematographer would be one of the must have items on our list. It never really crossed my  mind when we eloped, but after blogging for over a year about weddings and talking to numerous couples its the one thing we regret not having at our wedding. There is something so wonderful about super 8 film, and very few people document events like the amazing, Joel Serrato. His films are absolutely breathtaking, so I was super excited when he sent over the final cut from  Myriah and Christopher’s wedding for me to share with everyone…

Joel, thanks again for giving me a heads up about this amazing wedding and sending over such a magical film. Myriah, we wish you and Christopher a lifetime of happiness and love. Thank you for sharing your beautiful wedding with us today!

I love it! The bride looks so beautiful!

Some friends of friends had their elopement filmed by Josh Goleman on super 8 and it makes me weep. They were just so happy, it’s really touching.

Thank you Joel for doing such an unbelievable job in capturing my wedding, this is something I will treasure for the rest of my life!

To those of you brides debating wedding videography, DO IT! Years from now you won’t remember what china you ate on, the color or quality of the linens, or if your place cards were letterpressed or not. What you will have are the pictures and the video, which is well worth the investment!

Laurel- I designed and made the bridesmaids dresses.

Emily- the shoes are Sergio Rossi

Thank you everyone for the sweet comments!

What an amazingly beautiful wedding.
And what an absolutely gorgeous video.
If I had’ve thought it was possible to capture and edit something like that from my own wedding – I would have hired a talented videographer!
Maybe next time… ;)

Myriah! You MADE the dresses?? They’re amazing.

Also, I had to watch that video because I’m at work right now, and even on mute it was incredibly moving. SIGH I’m going to have to find room in the budget for video now…
