One of the most gratifying experiences in my journey with Once Wed has been the community of creatives I’ve been fortunate enough to meet and collaborate with along the way. These relationships and opportunities to network have been the catalyst for so much of the beauty you see on Once Wed every day. Working online provides quick and easy tools for communication, but nothing compares to the connections and bonds we can make with fellow creatives face to face. Because of this, I am especially thrilled to announce I’ll be speaking at Bliss & Bokeh Retreat in October.
Bliss & Bokeh is an intimate luxury retreat for female wedding photographers in beautiful historic Charleston, South Carolina. The ladies behind Bliss & Bokeh share a desire to bring together women who are passionate about wedding photography and the art of capturing bliss. Through an amazing team of talented speakers, beautifully styled shoots, and incredible local partnerships, women will have an opportunity to grow as creative entrepreneurs, while indulging in the luxury and charm of a city named two years in a row by Conde Nast readers as the number one destination in the US.
I can’t tell you how excited I am about what this retreat has to offer to female wedding photographers, and I’m flattered to be speaking alongside so many other talented female entrepreneurs including KT Merry, Whitney English, Tara Guerard, Joy Thigpen, Becky Hoppmann, Leigh Webber, and Angela Marcaccio.
I’d love the chance to connect and grow with you at Bliss & Blokeh. Click here for more information on signing up. See you in Charleston!

We always think the most beautiful inspiration for weddings comes from nature. After all, Mother Nature has done a wonderful job, hasn't she? In today's featured editorial, the creative team elected to work with a very simple, pared-down palette of green and brown, both usually found as the base colors in nature. Highlighting the beauty of these natural tones caused them to push the bounds of their creativity, resulting in a beautiful combination of simple, natural designs with a modern aesthetic.
