Wedding date: Oct TBD

My name is Sarah Beth and my fiance’s name is Ben and we met long ago in the halls of our middle school, St. Clement’s in El Paso, TX. Though we drifted apart for several years, we found each other again in college and have spent every day since thanking the sweet Lord for our reunion. He is kind, funny, gentle, and an all around good man – all I could ever ask for. Having gotten engaged only 2 weeks ago, we are still figuring out an exact date but we know our wedding will be this Fall 2015. As a former photojournalism major, I will truly value the images we walk away with from our day. Lucy, your work is stunning and all I can say is, “Pick us! Pick us!”

Dusty and I have been together for a long time, and it’s about time that we get married! We both live in the mountains in British Columbia (he proposed while we we were practising saving each other from avalanches!), but for the wedding we will be going to my hometown, to be married at my family’s farm. We’re gathering our friends from BC and bringing them out with us, and really want to have an amazing day to celebrate this long-awaited wedding! We love to have fun – Dusty and most of his friends are professional wakeboarders, and my dad is known around town as the man that everyone is friends with, so our struggle is keeping the wedding on the intimate side. The ceremony is going to be taking place just down the gravel road, in an old burnt-down stone barn (just the stone foundation remains and it is AMAZING!) and the reception will be a tented affair. We’re keeping things bright and vibrant to fit with our summer wedding, and hoping for beautiful weather to follow suit! We would absolutely love to have Lucy come and experience a Manitoba summer day, and share our wedding with her. I’ve worked on and off in the wedding industry and one of my bridesmaids is also a florist, so we know that gorgeous photos are really important and we would LOVE to work with Lucy! Thank you!

Chris and I met in high school through mutual friends 10 years ago. Chris moved to California shortly after graduation, but we always remained close. He has always been there for me with no thought for himself. He defended me against those who insulted me behind my back. He flew home to Connecticut one time just to help me out when I needed him. When my dad passed away a couple years ago, he was the only person who continued to check in on me.

I moved to St George, UT, for work in June 2013. He came out to visit for his birthday weekend, and we instantly fell in love on a road trip to the slot canyons. We always say that we had to move thousands of miles from home to find each other…even though we grew up eight minutes away.

We are so excited to celebrate our love in a historically rich venue in the stunning fall season with all of our family and friends. We will even be arriving in style by an old steam train! We would love Lucy to be a part of our ever-growing love story on that amazing October day.

Matt and I met at Queens University in Ontario – my first year and his last! I had a crush on him instantly, but we didn’t start dating until almost 3 years later. We got engaged in December the night before we took a fabulous trip together to California and kept it a secret from all our friends and family, deciding to surprise them on Christmas morning with a gift that announced our engagement! We’ve been together 8 years now, moved countries together, dealt with long distance business trips (upwards of 6 months!) and are so excited to celebrate with our friends and family, many of whom we don’t get to see very often as we live outside of Canada at the moment. We’re getting married in the winter in Toronto, Ontario, where the majority of our friends and family live – nothing says fun like the potential of a party in a snow storm! We will be the first on both of our sides to get married and see these photos not only as an opportunity to capture our special day together, but our special day with all of our families together. Lucy’s photos are stunning, elegant and manage to capture so much emotion. We would be so honored to have her with us on our special day!
