Hi, I saw you’re getting married in Tuscany. But didnt have a venue yet… A friend of mine just booked a wedding at La Foce. It’s in the Tuscan area, and absolutely stunning! It’s a wonderful venue. Best of luck!

Sarah and Kyle (-: getting married June 3, 2017 at Union Hill Inn in Sonora, CA. Going to plant our own centerpieces, get down to some Grateful Dead, make our own freshly-squeezed pomegranate cocktails, maybe run through the 35-acre woods after the ceremony in celebration? Honestly, the Pinterest Board simply does not suffice in conveying our vision(s), but here is the link anyways: https://www.pinterest.com/sflygem29/the-wedding-board/

Thanks!

Our inspiration for this day is to wisk our guests away to an orchard in the south of France or Italy. Ralph Lauren is my style inspiration for the day for a timeless moment.

My name is Bridget Brunet and my fiancé is Scotty Lago. We are getting married on July 24th, 2016 at our home in South Hampton, NH. We live on a beautiful 40 acre farm we purchased 2 years ago and are so excited to have 200 of our closest family and friends here to celebrate with us! Scott proposed on July 4th, 2015 on the Atlantic Ocean as we watched the fireworks from multiple towns from a boat. It was our 5 year anniversary. After I said yes, another boat with our closest friends pulled up along side us and we passed around a bottle of champagne as the grand finale ended.

I have been a wedding planner for 4 years and Scott is a professional snowboarder who won an Olympic medal at the 2010 Vancouver games. Planning our wedding has been exciting and stressful…..one would think being a wedding planner, I would have all the answers, but with the tables turned, it is much harder to make decisions!

We will be saying our vows in front of the pond on our property with guests seated on farm benches. Guests will enjoy cocktail hour in one of the horse paddocks before moving under the sail cloth tent for dinner and dancing.

I want our property to be the focal point of the day so Im keeping the color palette neutral using dove and slate gray, black, cream and pops of metallic. Guests will be seated at a mix of farm tables and Belgian linen covered tables. Floral are being kept monochromatic using mostly white blooms and lots of greenery. Were hoping to plant wild flowers in the fields not in use during the wedding for an added organic feel.

The night will wrap up under the stars with a fireworks show to pay homage to our anniversary and engagement and a late night snack of Poutine as a nod to Scott’s French Canadian family.

I have lots of Pinterest boards but they are private….happy to share them if you want to check them out!

Hi, we are Kristina and Andy from Germany. We got engaged during our 4 month journey through North- and Southamerica on the highes point on this journey – the Haleakala Volcano in Maui. We were alone in the middle of the clouds and it was the most magical moment during this trip. As I am a professional wedding stylist, I am used to work very conceptional and profound to make every wedding unique and personal. And the supernatural surrounding of this place was the perfect source of inspiration during the creative process for our own wedding. (I would love to show you our concept, if you wish.) We’ve been traveling together since we know each other (9 years) and decided to be getting married in our favorite country – Italy. It’s going to be a very intimate wedding with only 30-40 of our closest family and friends. The venue is in the countryside of Treviso, in the north of Italy and the date is the 17th of September 2016. Hope to hear from you and wish you a wonderful day, Kristina.

Jenna and Jesse, we aren’t sure the exact date we are getting married yet. We know it will be in 2017, maybe April or September? Also unsure of the venue, (we only got engaged 2 weeks ago!). However, I know exactly how I want my wedding to be. We decided on an intimate wedding, only our closest friends and family, that still may be around 100 guests. Lots of candles mixed in with pink peonies and some pops of gold. I believe I have found a venue that will be perfect for a woodland wonderland. It is a brand new venue that as of now has not even finished construction, although that is supposed to be done in the next six months. It is “Wrightsville Manor” in Wilmington, NC. I envision fairy lights hanging from the trees during the ceremony and as we dance the night away at our reception. As sappy as it might be, my inspiration has been the beauty in simple pleasures such as the love I have found. Blush pinks and champagnes go together perfectly to incite a calm, romantic feel.

We haven’t gotten all the details picked out mostly because we have yet to decide on a budget. We are paying for our wedding ourselves so this has made it very difficult. He is a recently medically-separated marine turned community college student and I a recently graduated Psychology student turned Legal Assistant. Although it will be difficult planning the wedding of my dreams, I’m up for the challenge! So thankful for opportunities like this and people like you! Would love to share my private Pinterest board with all my ideas with you!

Hi!! We are Raven and Alex. We are getting married on June 11, 2016 in New York at my fiance’s family property surrounded by all our loved ones. We are planning an intimate garden party full of love. The most meaningful moment to me is that my grandfather who is vision impaired is waking me down the aisle. I am currently in medical school doing research to cure blindness. My fiancé is finishing a Masters in Biology. My fiancé and I are folding 1000 gold cranes for the wedding for good luck and beautiful personal decor. We are most inspired by the property aiming for natural greens and elegant white flowers as the property is already beautiful. Lastly our inspiration comes from our friends and families.

Kate & Lee. We are getting married on 27/08/16 on our 6 year anniversary in Brighton Royal Pavilion, UK, followed by a venue under the arches of The Grand Parade on Brighton beach. Our theme is Vintage / Bohemian and our style is as eclectic as mad King George’s Palace. From an intimate ceremony of finery to kicking off our shoes and celebrating as the sun sets and the murmur of starlings dance in the sky above the beach.

Hello from Olympia, WA! My fiancé Sam and I got engaged in July of 2015. At the time, we were in the process of buying our first home, a dreamy old waterfront cape cod style house that needed A LOT of work. Wedding planning got put on hold during our 4 month d.i.y. renovation and we just recently booked our venue and began making plans. We will be getting married on September 3rd, 2016, at Red Barn Studios in Chehalis, WA. We love the outdoors so we are planning a simple outdoor ceremony followed by lawn games, cocktails, dinner and dancing. We have been inspired by photos of our grandparents wedding and plan to incorporate some old wedding traditions and vintage style without being too rigidly traditional. This contest closes on my birthday and it would be an amazing gift to be considered for this opportunity!

Morgan & William. We will be getting married on 3 June 2017 in London, England.

William’s family are from Hong Kong, so the morning will start with the traditional door games and Chinese tea ceremonies at our homes in South West London.

As Morgan works for the Houses of Parliament in London, we have been granted permission to hold our ceremony at the Chapel of St Mary Undercroft, an intimate Church of England chapel underneath St Stephens Hall in the Palace of Westminster (https://www.flickr.com/photos/uk_parliament/sets/72157621765942023/). We will have access to areas around the UK Parliament so we can get those classic shots of Big Ben.

We are yet to confirm our reception venue but we are looking at a number of art gallery/warehouse spaces around East London including One Friendly Place: http://onefriendlyplace.com/images/.

We fell in love over a shared of adventure, fine art, and cinema. We want the day to be as laid back as possible and the most important thing to us is that our guests have a good time. We will have two food trucks dishing up food, our friends band performing live and, most importantly, a free bar!

Winning this competition would mean so much to us. Shortly after the wedding, we will be setting off on an 8-month round the world trip, starting off with in the Mongol Charity Rally. We will drive from London to Mongolia in an old ambulance to raise funds for Go Help, a UK registered charity that is committed to working with local communities in Central Asia to improve their access to education and healthcare services. As a result, our wedding budget is fairly limited with most of our savings going to getting the ambulance there in one piece!

We love your fine art style of photography and would be so honoured if you could shoot our special day.

Best wishes,

Morgan and William

Anthony & I met under interesting circumstances & we were questioned a lot about our intentions to be together initially.

We met 6 months after Anthony lost his wife of two years to cancer at the age of 29. Unfortunately, this wasn’t his first time losing someone to Cancer. He lost his adoptive father the only father he had ever known at 17 to cancer and shortly before his death he found out he was adopted by this father from a sealed envelope containing his birth certificate. He was left behind to take care of his alcoholic mother & 2 younger brothers. In August, we went through the death of his grandmother (his best friend) and last night he found out within a month his biological father is dying in AZ & wants to meet him for the first time. But it’s made us appreciate every moment.

I look at how strong he was during such difficult times. I admire that he continues to remain kind to people despite the great amount of loss he’s faced. Not just kind but giving. Every time we see a homeless person Anthony goes out of his way to bring them food and hug them. He believes in blessings. He is ultimately my biggest blessing I hope to have forever.

We got engaged on the dock from Dawson’s Creek in Wilmington, NC on October 15th, 2015. He gave me my dream of visiting Wilmington. A dream I had since 13. I want to give him his dream wedding with as much family around as possible. We plan on getting married at Greenfield Lake Park in Wilmington in Spring of 2017. In my heart I’ve been married to him since the moment we met. Our wedding is to celebrate our truly appreciated family being together. We have realized God blessed the broken road.

We have an amazing proposal story!

We were both stationed in Korea (Army) and had fallen in love very fast and very hard. We were officially dating by late November. One weekend we had booked this amazing mini trip to Seoul for the entire weekend. We had an amazing hotel suite and had site seeing and a bunch of really awesome activities to do that weekend. The first night of our weekend we had taken the subway to downtown and went out for dinner and drinks, we went from place to place to site-see as well. We were getting closer to out hotel, when my husband saw a big group of people with music and lights and we went to go look what it was. There was an old city of original Korean homes and a castle. There were performers in authentic Korean clothing doing a performance with dragons and ancient Korean dances. When the show was coming to an end, the music softened and my husband got down on one knee asking if I would be his wife. As I said yes and put the ring on my finger and we kissed and hugged the music started up again and everyone applauded and cheered. My husband and I got to join in the final dance and it was something spectacular! We may not all speak the same language but love speaks to all.

We are so excited to be getting married and would love to win a photography session from you. It has been difficult being that my family does not accept me or the man I love, but it is not something we will allow to ruin this amazing rustic wedding we dream of. We are hoping to have amazing pictures and memories of this day to be able to share with our future children for the rest of our lives.

We are getting married on September 08, 2018 in a quaint, teeny town called Sarto in Manitoba Canada. The venue is called Cielo’s Garden; It is an outdoor setting in a birch tree forest with lights hanging from the trees and a transparent roof tent with chandeliers. We feel it is whimsical and magical – just what we wanted!
Thank you :)
