We’re so excited to have the opportunity today to tell you a little more about a photographer who is very close to our hearts. Christina McNeill recently photographed Emily’s sister’s wedding- which you can see here! Christina’s talent for photography is in her genes- her grandparents met when her grandfather was dropping off film at the drugstore. His enthusiasm for photography rubbed off on her – she’s been photographing and creating art for as long as she can remember. She strives to tell beautiful, compelling stories through her pictures and has a blast during the process.
Christina makes bold choices and balances the needs for compelling storytelling by capturing authentic and fleeting moments, but also has the ability to photograph weddings in an editorial, straight-out-of-a-magazine type way. You can credit her art school training, or her years of experience, but at the end of the day the most important thing she brings to the table is her ability and ease to connect with her clients!
You might consider Christina a realist, she waits for those fleeting, split second moments that are so real. At the end of the day, she captures the best day of your life all while feeling like she was barely even there. Christina is interested in studying her subjects and there’s this fluid movement within an ordinary moment that translates to magic. She is able to capture her clients true personalities and energy while not intruding on the flow of the day.
