Reggie and Paige in Medina, OH. Planning on April of 2017. We have been together for 6 years and met during school at THE Ohio State University! He has been my rock throgh undergrad and pharmacy school. We plan to have a fun, family friendly wedding and reception. We are both Buckeyes and pharmacists, so we plan to incorporate that into our decorations. We are very laid back and simple, down to earth people. We want our special day to be filled with wonderful memories and we want our day to represent our personalities well. Having beautiful pictures that capture our emotions and the memories of the day is something that is very important to us. Having a great photographer with high quality pictures is a must!

Hey Y’all!

My name is Bri and my fiancé Tyler are a super outgoing, fun loving couple! Tyler and I are true believers in living life to the fullest and because of that we’ve always done things pretty quick when it comes to our relationship.

You see, we met online in October of 2015, we were engaged in December 2016 (1 year and 5 months after we started dating), I graduated nursing school the same week as our engagement, we got a puppy :D, and then we moved from Pittsburgh, PA to Charlotte, NC a week later. After we moved to Charlotte, Tyler started his own flooring business, TB Floors, which is super exciting as well! BOOM, BOOM, BOOM- one thing right after another!

However, if there was one thing we were going to take our time with, it was planning our wedding. We set the date for October 21st, 2017- that gave us a year and 9 months to plan and save money.

Just last week, my mom called me and said my cousin (who has been engaged for 3 years) finally set a date for her wedding. Obviously, I was super excited for her so I asked my mom, “Great, when is it?!” There was a pause and she finally said “October 21st 2017.” WHAT?! Out of allllllll 365 days in a year, my cousin picks our date for her wedding too. :/ Great minds think alike I guess…

So now what are we supposed to do? Well, in typical Tyler and Bri fashion, we decided not to wait and pushed it up a whole year! Our date now is October 21st, 2016- 5 months away! I called our venue, Langtree Plantation, with my fingers crossed and prayed our new date would be available, unfortunately it was not. :( Not going to lie, I cried a little bit. A few hours later I was sitting on my computer looking for a back up venue that might be available and our original venue called me.
“Hello?”
“Bri! You’ll never believe what just happened!”
“What?”
“The event scheduled for October 21st JUST CANCLED!!”
“……* I died* ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW?!”
“Nope, it’s all yours!”

It’s a miracle, honestly!! Langtree Plantation in Mooresville, NC is hands down the absolute perfect venue to celebrate our love. Our style is very rustic and this venue offers a beautiful old victorian house, a barn, a lodge made from real boulders, and a beautiful pavilion that looks like a horse barn. Our plan is to have the ceremony in the barn, cocktail hour in the lodge, and our reception in the pavilion. Outside the pavilion we will have yard games and a fire pit as well! So fun!!

I believe that everything happens for a reason. I believe that my cousin booking our date and our miraculous venue availability is most definitely a sign that we’re supposed to have our wedding this year. Tyler is truly my best friend, and I cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together!! I’M SO EXCITED TO BE HIS WIFEY!!! :D

So now its crunch time, and a little bit of craziness, but I love it!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read our story! <3

My fiance Andrew and I are getting married in Evergreen, CO on 8/6/16 at a barn called the Meadows at Marshdale. I am originally from Ohio and Andrew is from Georgia – we both moved to Colorado seeking the outdoors (and more sun!) and met soon after moving through a club frisbee team that we were both playing on. Funny story – I had actually watched Andrew play frisbee a few years earlier at a tournament while we were both in college, but we didn’t know each other yet! We’ve been dating for over 6 years and are more than ready to get married, even though we are super behind on wedding planning!

Spencer and I met while we were students at the University of Michigan so we wanted to spend our big day near our Alma Mater. We chose Hilltop Manor, which is a bit west of Ann Arbor but it’s our dream venue. We’re both laid back, love nature and autumn, and wanted a place where we could express our creativity. I’m a huge crafter and can’t wait to fill the venue up with our own special touch. We also plan to bring in some of our favorite fall desserts including donuts, pies, and s’mores. Even though October 14,2017 seems so far from now, we’re grateful for the time to plan our celebration with family and friends filled with lots of love.

I’m Libby, my fiance is Richard and we’re getting married in Milwaukee, WI on 9-3-17. We chose a gorgeous venue of Hubbard Park Lodge. We’re going a rustic theme, but eloquent at the same time. I just can’t wait to marry my fiance! We’ve been together for 4 years and have a beautiful baby boy together. We can’t afford much, but together we’re making it work!

Hi there!! :) My name is Jordan and my fiance Ben and I will be tying the knot on September 10th, 2016 (our third anniversary) at Hoover Park in North Canton, Ohio. :) We met & fell in love for our mutual love of Kent State where I studied art and him Chemistry. :)

Our wedding is all about combining organic with geometric feels. Me, being a painter, I love free flowing lines, colors and such while Ben is a more structured character. :) So we our centerpieces will be geometric linear shapes with overflowing florals spilling out, and tons of paintings made by yours truly throughout! Anything about the “traditional ohio wedding” is completely not allowed at our wedding!

My fiance also is first generation Chinese, so we will be having a Chinese Tea ceremony as well which will be so fun and different!

I truly cannot wait to marry this man and spend the rest of my life laughing and loving with him.

Thanks so much! :)

Hey!! Geoffrey and I are getting married May 6, 2017 at the Beauvoir in Biloxi MS with the most beautiful live oak trees (my obsession). We currently live in Atlanta, Ga and grew up in the same small suburb of Atlanta.
Geoffrey and I lived 2.8 miles away from each other the majority of our lives and never met. He went to a private school out of town and I went to the local public school. After graduating we both moved to different states. I went to college in Mississippi and after giving college ‘the college try’ as they say, Geoffrey joined the United States Airforce and also moved away.
Flash forward 5 year and Geoffrey and I met at bar in Atlanta. The long story is actually pretty comical but I will leave that for another time. We have been together 5 years now and are finally getting married ??????
We often talk about what would have happened if we met when we were practically neighbors. Geoffrey probably would have ran for the hills from me. But our relationship has had perfect timing in so many ways.
As a southern girl I’m obsessed with weddings and there are only two things I care about when it comes to mine, it’s beautiful, and the most fun anyone has had at a wedding. I will describe it as beautiful, romantic and a big party!

Ali Schwach and Jesse Balaban-Feld . September 4, 2016, Minneapolis, MN @The Mill City Museum.
We met when we were 16 at a sports camp in Austin, Texas. He is from Chicago and I am from St. Paul, MN. We began taking, visiting, and were long-distance from when we were 16, through college (he went to Illinois, I went to Ohio State). We finally got to live in the same city in 2010, backpack together through South America for six months in 2011, and have been together ever since. By the time we get married in September, we’ll have already been together for 12 years. It’s hard to believe met as kids, bit we’ve grown up together and are a perfect match for one another. I truly can’t imagine my life without him!

Hi! My name is Harlie Helm and I am marrying my best friend on June 2, 2017 in Bowling Green Ohio at Stone Ridge Golf Club. We’ve been together for almost 6 years now, however the majority of that time has been long distance because my fiance is in the United States Marine Corp. Now with his two tours over and his contract coming to a close, we can finally start our lives together and I couldn’t be more excited! He truly is my opposite in every way. I’m loud and outgoing and he’s reserved and modest, but i’m grateful for the balance we bring to each other. We’re getting married outside, which is a dream come true of mine. I definitely want a photographer that can capture all the love and beauty on our special day!

Hi Renee,

Groom here. I’m Dan, and my fiancé and I will be getting married April 22, 2017 in Key West, FL at Fort Zachary Taylor. Key West is one of our favorite spots to visit every summer. We decided a destination wedding would be the one opportunity to share our beloved spot with those closest to us. The ceremony will be held on the beach at sunset, and then we’ll have dinner and dancing inside the old fortress. We love the fort because the reception area has such cool brick casements (complete with cannons!) and they are open to a grass courtyard that has a lot of space for dancing. It will keep everyone cool while still being outside and give us full freedom when designing the space. We’re still locking down the exact details, but we hope to keep the party going until 2AM :)

We are both originally from Miami but we never met until after graduating from college and moving to New York City. We had mutual friends who introduced us and I thought she might be my prettiest…friend. She knew right away that she wanted to date me and supposedly was dropping hints non-stop. I was a little slow at figuring it out (read: very slow) aaaand kind of a chicken :) Finally after 6 months (which she considers an eternity) I summoned my courage and asked her out on a date. Of course she said yes, and we very quickly realized that we loved spending every minute with each other. We’ve hardly ever spent a day apart since then. I proposed one afternoon outside in the rain (the rain was not planned) and we are so excited to get married and continue our lives as husband and wife!

Once we secured our venue, finding an excellent photographer was our top priority. We know that after the night has passed the memories and photos are all that we keep and all we have to share with our family, and we definitely want a beautiful collection to look back on. Upon coming across this post and seeing your work I am so very excited to potentially work with you!

Thanks so much,
Dan
