From Yann, the photographer:
We shot this inspirational editorial in the South of France. We chose a stunning hotel that opened last year as the perfect location. It’s the first and editorial had been shot there. I am sure it won’t be the last since it is a very special place, with fabulous modern furniture and design. It is nearby the place where Le Corbusier and Charlotte Perriand used to have their little summer cabin, Le Cabanon.
The hotel really fit with its surroundings, serving local food and using raw, honest materials. It exemplifies a new trend in luxury hotels in France and in the Mediterranean area. We have found that more and more couples want to have this kind of backdrop for their wedding. We tried to create an unique look – maybe not as glamorous and bling as a classic French Riviera look, but more of a contemporary Mediterranean. We love the that it is representative of the huge fashion scene developing in the south of France around designers (like Simon Jacquem). Check back tomorrow for the bridal look we created.
