Simple European Wedding Ideas in a White and Green Palette

Elegance, simplicity, freshness — all things that come to mind when gazing through this beautiful gallery of European-inspired wedding ideas. We’re always looking for new ways to develop a clean white and green palette for weddings, and this does just that. The designer, Sofia of Brancoprata, says: “Above all, we wanted to showcase a simple elegance that follows no trends.”

We cannot get enough of this bridal bouquet — if you’re finding yourself in the same place, then here’s a tip: ask your floral designer for large, ruffled blooms like the peonies and stock which serve as focal flowers in this stunning bouquet.

“This venue located in the North of Portugal dates from the beginning of 12th century. An old Monastery embellished by perfectly designed paths and artistic fountains has a graceful garden with a small pond, where you can still see the old retaining wall of stone. The massive walls, with various colors and unique textures of this stone Monastery, are absolutely captivating and inspired us for this editorial and of course, were the perfect framing for every image!

A mix of old and new, a truly classic feel with contemporary touches, modern accents paired with a romantic young couple completely in love with each other. Above all, we wanted to showcase a simple elegance that follows no trends. In a time where everything is a click away, we wanted to take a step back and truly appreciate the importance of the 5 senses. To experience each and every one of them: to taste a sweet flavor, to truly see and hear what’s around us, to take the time to feel every texture of every wall, of every stone, of every door and to smell every plant, every rose garden. Because the most important and significant moments in life get more real when you acknowledge everything that surrounds you.”
