About this wonderful real wedding:
Sometimes, the purpose of the day can get lost in the commotion of guest lists, hotel blocks, and seating charts. Meghan and Emery wanted their wedding to be focused on their love and commitment to one another, so they decided to elope and put all their energy into making their day the most magical it could be! When they started planning, they were torn between a playful, beach vibe with the colorful backdrop of Positano, or a classic and romantic vibe with the pastel backdrops of Ravello and Amalfi. In the end, they chose formal attire with some casual twists and it fit them so well!

Since they were eloping, it was important to them to include touches from home, and special reminders of loved ones who were not there with them. She wore her best friend’s veil and a special ring from her Dad, used her grandmother’s monogramed handkerchief, and  asked family and friends to write a little note for them to read before the ceremony. She also made sure to include a portion in their ceremony to remember her Dad who recently passed, and took a moment to mention their loved ones back at home. They exchanged special gifts prior to the ceremony. Both of them happened to engrave one another’s gift with their wedding date! During the ceremony, they read their own vows to one another. Then they took a stroll through town and stopped for gelato (something they do often back home). Next, they headed to Amalfi for a boat ride along the coast to their secluded dinner location. They were met with white glove service, a violinist, and the most romantic 5 course dinner and wine pairings for two. They also enjoyed a cake cutting, first dance, and a night capped with fireworks!
