From the stylist, Rachel:
This couple’s story began years after bride Emma’s first husband, the father of her two children, had passed away. When she met Caleb she knew he was not only a wonderful partner, but would also be an amazing father. On the day they married, Caleb adopted Emma’s children, making vows during the ceremony to them as well as to their mom. Caleb and Emma become husband and wife, but even more importantly the four of them became a forever family. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house!

Emma had envisioned a soft, romantic, and approachable design for their celebration. She wore a blush Alexandra Grecco gown that was especially beautiful in front of the unique altar backdrop. The paper goods were delicate and clean. The cocktails were handcrafted one by one. To balance the elegant outdoor affair with a more fun and casual element, they brought in their favorite brunch restaurant, to cater a picnic lunch. It was a day of joy and togetherness – exactly what weddings and family should be about!

The wedding was even more special because Hannah, the photographer, had been adopted from China as a child. This family touched her heart, and it was reflected in the beautiful images she captured of the family. We loved that this shoot highlighted a very important aspect of marriage – family and the home that is created when two people commit their lives to one another!
