A Light And Airy Wedding Set In A Historic, Regal Setting

From Emmily Jones, the stylist:
Designing this concept, I was inspired by the boldness of the interior of St. Giles. The Earl of Shaftesbury, and his wife, have put love and character into their revitalization efforts while, still managing to keep an air of tradition and history. With unique, rich paint colors throughout the home, color-play continued to be the leading role in the design. I settled on a monochromatic scheme of pinks, blues, greens and purple. Accents of very thin gold in understated ways made beautiful accents, along with clean and modern paper goods. An intricate mantle installation using delicate blooms and gold wire added a fresh juxtaposition to the grand room’s opulent architecture.

From workshop host Jessica:
This was the most detailed of the four shoots we put on during The Photographers Way workshop at the St. Giles House this past June. It was a true joy as the host to see all the incredible talent of so many artists come together to make this a reality. Below are some of the thoughts and concepts behind the design and styling of the shoot.
