Peaceful Bridal Portraits on the Wedding Day

In the Southern US, bridal portraits are commonly taken a few weeks before the wedding but for some people, it makes more logistical sense for the bridal portraits to be done earlier on the wedding day while the bride is dressing and preparing. Today’s beautiful bride, Ashley, chose to spend her morning quietly and peacefully. That calm demeanor is evident from her elegant bridal gown and style, and we think that she’ll love these images for the rest of her life!

“This bridal session took place at the most beautiful Italian inspired villa in Athens, GA. The marble spiral staircase, the handcrafted stone home, and the stunning vineyard set the tone for the morning. Our beautiful bride-to-be, Ashley, spent the morning reading handwritten love letters, lounging in soft intimates from Veronica Sheaffer, getting ready, and reflecting on what it means to be a bride. Our inspiration for these bridals were heavily based on the simplicity of natural beauty- found in both Ashley and the villa. The simple elegance of Ashley in her blush tulle gown paired with the freshly foraged greenery and dogwood blooms created a simple yet stunning bridal look that we are so excited we were chosen to capture!”
