Organic Bridal Boudoir Shoot With Fine Art Accents and Tropical Touches

From the photographer:

“Tropical leaves are a never-fading fashion and decorative trend with their large, shapely leaf patterns cresting everything from cakes and invitation suites,  to bold, bright green floral accents that instantly read “exotic”, and perfectly translate into a destination wedding celebration.

The bride, Helen’s personal favorite the Monstera leaf was the case in point of her early morning boudoir shoot.  Nodding to the overall destination wedding setup following later in the day, this organic loving beauty wished to incorporate the split leaf philodendron charm into her paper suites as well as on her pre-bridal attire, an opulent dark silk robe crested with the summertime patterns of Monstera.  Ensconced in the well-lighted suite of her hotel, right before her wedding preparations began we got to capture a snippet of romantic routine, Helen indulging in some self-loving time and enjoying the ease of rehearsing her vows.

We took the chance to incorporate two of Chris’ presents to her, a bold amethyst cocktail ring Helen had previously received for their engagement and a set of fine art prints of Helen and the couple themselves designed by the groom to be who is a graphic artist.  We have a soft spot for everything organic and that is why we didn’t wish to add anything redundant to this boudoir shoot, other than Helen’s personal choices. We’d be remiss of course not to capture the couple’s wedding bands made to order inspired by the ones their parents are wearing.”
