From Lisa, the bride:

“Ryan and I have always felt like The University of British Columbia has been our place. It was where we first met in undergrad, where we became best friends and, years later, where we fell in love. The most cherished memories of our love story have been in and around this campus. We love that it captures the essence of Vancouver – a beautiful juxtaposition of nature and modern architecture, side-by-side.

From Kristy, the photographer:

“Lisa & Ryan were a dream couple to work with. They knew for their engagement shoot they wanted two looks, with two different feels. One modern, with clean lines and architecture, and a second look more natural, outdoors, dreamy and romantic. They collected inspiration from past Once Wed blogs, and I knew exactly what they were looking for. Together we came up with the perfect outfits to match each look and found the perfect locations on the University grounds where they met & fell in love, giving the shoot that much more meaning.”

Whoah! Indeed an amazing idea to recall those faded memories of budding romance. And, this place, offering a beautiful sight, makes the whole idea even more attractive. I have gone through the images you have shared and it seems Kristy is a lovely photographer. The moments have been captured beautifully. Good job.
