When we asked our floral community what they’d most love to learn from Bows and Arrows Flowers, it was no surprise the number one response was “installation mechanics!” Adam and Alicia are known for it.

We hear you! The floral walls, arches, and hanging features they’ve created leave most of us wondering “But how did they do that?!” So, we asked them, and they answered.

Before turning his eye to flowers, Adam did sculpture and set design—so he knows his way around a challenging set-up. Today, over on the If I Made blog, Adam shares the techniques and mechanics behind some of Bows and Arrows most popular designs.

“What I love about building installations is how varied they are. I love being asked to design a five-foot hanging installation or build a richly-adorned arbor from the ground up. Installation work, to me, is like a breath of fresh air.”
