From Ben, the filmmaker:
“The Royal Automobile Club, an exclusive private members’ club nestled in the Surrey countryside in the outskirts of London, boasts timeless grandeur and opulence, which made it the perfect backdrop for Alex and Ella’s classically elegant day. Details such as Ella’s stunning Jesus Peiro dress and Victorian fairground rides helped to make their celebrations both memorable and breath-taking.
Ella’s bridal preparations were hosted at her family home, which was just a short drive from the 800-year old village church where they were married. Ella chose to wear a classical and breathtaking silhouette by Jesus Peiro, complementing the gown with a strand of pearls and precious stones. Their traditional ceremony was laced with personal touches, highlighted in a moment where a close family friend, who had flown thousands of miles from Australia, gave an address to the couple and sang a heart-warming piece.
Following the ceremony, guests were transported in a vintage coach to the prestigious grounds of The Royal Automobile Club’s Woodcote Park, where a champagne reception and jazz duo awaited them. As guests looked out over the 350 acres of parkland, the new married couple arrived in style in a classic Rolls-Royce and the festivities soon continued with a three-course banquet.
The evening celebrations started with Victorian swing boats and sparklers on the terrace before the couple had their first dance by the light of the moon. Everyone then headed inside to dance the night away!”
