How we wish that lilacs bloomed all year long! But if they did, perhaps we wouldn’t love these delicate purple blooms quite as much as we do. If you’re lucky enough to wed during lilac season, we encourage you to use these fragrant branches anywhere and everywhere you can – your bridal bouquet, your centerpieces, even as inspiration for hand-painted invitations!

Read on for more from the floral designer, Poppy Design Co!
“I had just finished a month long harvest at our local lilac farm, Kilcoyne Farm, and the fleeting beauty of lilac season had us enraptured with scent and simplicity of their beautiful blooms. We were all inspired by them, their uniqueness and the magic of their short bloom season. We knew right away that they would become the focus and muse for this simplistic story. Sarah created a sweet Sunday morning feel as the subject roamed the blooming hills and returned home to create a lovely dinner setting. Pulling elements, details and moments that felt laid back and shared a beautiful story of a woman within her calm setting.”
