Romantic Elopement in Historic, Extravagant City Hall of San Fransisco

From Andrew and Ada, the Photographers:

“We live in a world where time escapes us and the illusion is upon us that time is lapsing at a rapid speed. The inspiration behind this shoot is that love remains constant in a world that is changing at an increasing pace. Nothing in the world matters as time passes by, except the intimate moment when joining as man and wife. We wanted to create the feeling that the passing of time has slowed down and the moments are captured and filled with memories of joy and happiness. For this elopement, time was planned in a way that it was “frozen” in unforgettable intimate experiences for the couple. We were inspired by the quote, “When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible”—When Harry Met Sally.

An elopement at the historic San Francisco City Hall was the sanctuary where vows were exchanged. Taylor escorted his bride in hand to the top of the 1915 beaux-arts staircase and as they exchanged their life long promises. Time stood still between them even though the world around them passed by.  As photographers, this was a really special shoot for us because Mary and Taylor were one of our first couples EVER! After all these years, we were so glad to create a special shoot for them that turned into a mini- vow renewal in one of California’s most beautiful cities.”
