Wedding photography tip from Jessica Rose:
This wintery editorial was inspired by the stunning landscape of British Columbia in the winter. Focus was on the cooler tones, white space, clean lines and elegant details. My biggest inspiration, however, always comes from the couple themselves. For this shoot I chose a real couple, Kevin & Jeannine, to model for us so that Jenzel would be able to learn my process of studying my clients first and then using that as a foundation to capture them. I find this creates a much stronger sense of authenticity to any type of shoot, creating a sense of depth and meaning on top of the beauty. I am grateful to have walked alongside Jenzel during this one on one workshop, and can’t wait to see all the amazing things she will do. I hope this tip and the resulting images will prove helpful for all the wonderful wedding photographers out there!
