Fashion Inspiration For The Non-Traditional Bride

From the the shoot team:
We created this bridal inspiration for the modern bride who is drawn to natural, minimal aesthetics. It is perfect for the understated bride with impeccable taste, whose style is modern and sleek while still being effortless. Inspired by the contrast between the industrial vibes of the venue and the effortless beauty of the beach, the fashion we used was all about opposites: a simple column gown with a dramatic tulle back, a masculine pantsuit in a sweet Swiss dot, a structured black cocktail dress with an organic ruffle, and a glamorous beaded sheath with an understated tulle cape. Regal yet unfussy, hard yet soft, the fashion helped tell the story of a modern wedding for the ultimate cool bride

The use of foraged flowers and materials brought the natural elements indoors at our shoot location. We worked with muted, soft, natural tones for the florals and anchored them with black china, candles and chairs to create a story of contrasts. We paired clean modern lines with natural elements, bringing the outside in to contrast the time worn interior. The paper goods were created with a muted and monochromatic palette inspired by sandy dunes and beach grasses. Once again there was play with the balance of clean lines and natural elements – mixing in black string and modern clean fonts on textured and natural toned paper.
