When Romance and Whimsy Stand Alongside Modern Bridal Trends

From Alyssa Thomas, the planner:

“Staged at the Cathedral of Learning on the University of Pittsburgh’s campus, this editorial was Inspired by the delicate beaded details and feminine silhouettes of two separate gowns at Lex and Lynne Bridal Boutique. The setting for the shoot provided beautiful stone architecture and a muted old world feel which gave our imagery depth and visual interest, as well as allow the dresses to take the limelight and show up in a bold way.

The goal was to create a romantic and whimsical editorial aimed at the style-savvy bride who isn’t afraid to push trend and color boundaries. We chose a feminine fall color palette mixed with peach, purple, red, orange, deep mauve, and cream to complement these two effortlessly chic and one of a kind gowns.

Every additional detail from the loose and naturally pinned up-do, to the acrylic chairs, table numbers and place cards, to the casual moccasin slippers, and drip cake were selected to highlight trend, show how to bring these trends to life within the fall season and all the while still elude femininity, whimsy, and romance alongside the two gowns. The team of vendors involved did an impeccable job bringing this vision to life, showcasing their expertise and collectively creating beautiful work that will move the wedding industry forward and provide inspiration for the trendy bride.”
