It was really important for us to keep everything we used very much local to the land we were working on. We chose freshly picked lilac and cherry blossoms for the bride’s bouquet, but decided to go with delicious veggies to decorate the reception table with. A trail of purple cabbage and onions, potatoes, leafy greens, fresh bread, and a little bit of soil made up our centerpiece decor…

I’ve been to luncheons at the farm, workshops, and the charming gift shop as well as a wedding. It’s not to be missed–Emily (of the farm) always has the BEST gifts and seasonal accessories.
Brings to mind a lovely wedding in June at the Moon about 7 years ago. Wish I had some of that pound cake right now.
